@cook_book_nigeria - Cook Book Nigeria๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿ…๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ€ | Yall know i love you guys so here is the repost of the recipe for the yam balls. Some are calling it ojojo its not o,ojojo is made from wateryam, this is just normal white yam. Do tag me when you try it out๐Ÿ˜Š. Before meets after. Golden yam balls๐Ÿ˜.
Its quite an easy one. You can also use left over boiled yam for it.
Ingredients
Yam
3 eggs
Pepper to taste(chopped in small bits)
Onions(chopped in small bits)
Seasoning cube n salt to taste
Little curry
Vegetable oil
P. S you can also add cooked well seasoned minced meat or flaked fish too to make it really interesting.

Peel yam,cut into small chunks and cook with little salt till soft. Scoop into a bowl and mash/pound rough(shouldnt be smooth like you are making pounded yam). Leave to cool, when cool break an egg whisk and add to the pounded yam and mix in.
Heat up little vegetable oil,fry the pepper and onions, add seasoning cube and curry. Fry for a min or 2 and put off heat. Pour into the yam and mix to combine very well.
Scoop some with your hands and roll into a ball.
Break the remaining two eggs and whisk.
Heat up enough vegetable oil,dip the balls in the egg and drop into the hot oil.
Fry till golden. Enjoy with stew/sauce,as side dish to any food of your choice or it can be eaten alone.
