It's a funny feeling when you start receiving mail addressed specifically to you with this logo on it. did i say funny? i meant more like " w*f are you people doing sending me mail and free gifts ( and to quote my hilarious friend @summerleae
" trying to sell me pipe dreams of having gray hair and being able to sail around the world" when we know we all be working until the day we drop dead. if we want to eat. that's just how it is . i'm just glad both my parents are getting their social security because there was a stretch there when i really worried they wouldn't. i remember 12 years ago how offend my mom was when went to eat dinner at ihop ( which we have done since i was a kid) and i pointed out she could for the first time order off the senior citizens menu. i really was just trying to help. but now she says " do they have a senior discount there ?" :) i absolutely respect the organization of aarp but when you come home after charging a bottle of a wine and a pizza to your mastercard at 40 years old this is the last logo you want to see in your mailbox... regardless of all the free tote bags.
