deadlift: this is a fundamental exercise, it’s easier than the traditional deadlift where the weight is in front of you, it’s better on the back, focuses on your form (great for big inners) and also gives you that hinge patter in your hips that will be useful for other exercises like squats.
the exercise increases hip, back, trap and grip strength, great all around workout.

shoulder shrugs: most people have done this exercise, but using the trap bar is a little more comfortable and gives you a greater range of motion. works the upper trap/ back and puts less stress on your wrists than the traditional barbell shrug

farmer’s walk: another great exercise for building core, glute, hamstring and grip strength. also works on your deadlift pattern. it’s a simple exercise to do, just walk and carry some heavy weight!
