"only two miles to go". the problem with going beyond your.limit is in first getting to that limit. i often get beyond my comfort zone but it's rare to get to a limit. when i do hit a limit, i now see opportunity.
i usually walk early in the morning, before the heat. yesterday, i had an early morning road trip and didn't make time to walk so i had to do it in the evening. it was hot and humid and especially tiring. this morning my body said no, not again, not yet, you've walked extra this month and finally just no. i'm at my limit. i convinced myself to put on my shoes and then, finally, to go #atleastamile. not going to break my walk streak at just 21 days. it was an opportunity to push beyond. so i set my goal at my usual daily walk of 3.1 miles. after i started, i felt the endorphins and decided to really push and #walkdouble
some days i walk for endurance and some days pace. with the humidity reading 96%, today was endurance. 6.4 miles later, i had found a new level of exhaustion. i pushed through by walking only one step further than i had already walked. when you find you can go no more, #takeonemorestep
