Some of you may be curious what all has been going on with the coupe behind the scenes--and in this post, i'll tell you.
a while back, the coupe threw a cel and was misfiring on two cylinders. the typical coil pack swap didn't solve the problem, and a compression test revealed the likely culprit was the head gasket. turns out, it was much more. a previous owner most likely money shifted and did some serious damage to the engine, and it didn't get repaired properly. among other things, the coupe needed new cams, new followers, new valve lifters, and what amounted to a pretty serious head job.
since the head was dissembled, it made sense to do an na build concurrently. so the block and head were both planed and copper plated, and in went shrick cams, 24 lb injectors, an m50 intake manifold, a porsche 3.5" maf, a dinan cai, and an upgraded stage ii vanos kit from dr. vanos. a conforti tune rounds it all off to make one of the most exhilarating machines i have had the pleasure of driving.

their long hours and incredible dedication to this build makes this coupe what it is today. they are masters at their craft, and i wouldn't leave my coupe in the hands of anyone else. thank you guys! i owe you both many beers--this is one badass coupe 🍻
