guillotine strength development 🚨 it is no secret that sport specific exercises are a key component for performance. the 4 in diameter ball of the gripedo, even though it is not the same size of an opponents head, it does fit perfectly behind the armpit allowing to generate powerful leverage with the forearm right under 2.25 diameter gripedo center (pipe) section which simulates opponent’s throat.
guillotine choke requires a great deal of isometric strength and this exercise develops great strength to amp up your guillotines and build peripheral muscular endurance. this exercise can aid with building strength for ankle locks as well.
a key thing that may help is placing a piece of soft material on your forearm unless you are tough as nails 😁
we recommend doing this for 30-60 seconds with 30 seconds rest building up to 8 rounds.
warning ⚠️ this will develop an incredible amount of strength and always be mindful training on the mat. happy head hunting guys! to make this harder you can march while performing the hold. stay tuned for rubber forearm protection guillotine converter shortly 🤙😊 @neilmelansonmma @fightcampconditioning @speedofsport @raymonterry @o.g.flexican @gilbert_burns @doublejmma @bryan_barberena @darustrong @vagnerrocha_vrma
