Sportiness/experience by @metrozoomin1:
as i got in the project 8, abin got in the svr; we’d switch drivers on the way back. powered by a 5.0l supercharged v8, the project 8 roared into life. we highly doubt any customer will get over the sound. we weren’t able to take it out onto the track due to the cold and rainy conditions, so we took them out on some nice, country roads. we pulled up to a signal; once the light turned green and we were past the intersection, the jaguar employee switched to track mode. the digital dash swiped over and left me with the tachometer and speed. i knew i was going to need some space in front of me, so i slowed down while abin went ahead. once i had enough space, i forced my foot onto the pedal. the tachometer needle jumped and the engine roared, but the car barely moved. the tires were struggling to gain traction on the wet road; but once they did... oh man. i’ve never felt an adrenaline rush like i did sitting in that car, launching it to 60. you can even see the car shifting its power from the rear to the front to help pull itself forward. i immediately caught up to abin in the svr. we drove for a few more miles before we pulled over and switched drivers. man, i love this car.

stiff! especially in track and dynamic modes. the project 8 handles perfectly in corners and has a great center of gravity. the stationary wing can be adjusted manually to angles required to increase downforce; the same goes for the front splitter. when switching to dynamic mode, the front splitter moves forward an inch and the car lowers itself. this allows the project 8 to breathe more for cooling, especially for the carbon ceramic brakes. the project 8 can be considered a collector’s car but the main attraction lives on the track. that’s when it releases its true colors. this beast is responsive and listens to your command. but be careful; it has a powerful bite.
***comparable to the amg gt-r or gt3 rather than the amg c63 or m3.***
