Street photographers regularly use reflections to create a certain level of confusion. confusing photos tend to hold the viewer’s attention a bit longer than usual.
this is a photo that i took while drinking a fine espresso at blue bottle within shinagawa station. i photographed through the opaque glass, with the man visible many floors below. always look for ways to frame-up your main subject, such as this & sign.
check back regularly as i will be posting photo lessons and tips each day while i’m here in japan. for more photography training check out my online photography courses and dates for my next japan photo workshop: www.markhemmings.com
Something totally different from me than i normally share. but since landscapes can be a important part of documentary too i was like why not. and i was in the mood for sharing something. .
these are the mountains where the kayan people live in. and this is the landscape i spend my time last october. beautiful hills and every once in a while a ride field. .
small detail. two minutes later i took this landscape i got stung in my eye lid by a bee. . .
