“when life tries to tear you down, the opportunity is to build yourself up.” exercise takes a muscle, breaks it down, and then as it heals it not only gets stronger but grows as a result of the stimulus.
not only were your muscles designed for this, but so were you.
life may be up and down. work may be stressful. heart may be broken. people may be in and out of life, being left to feel gripping loneliness.
however, you. must. push. forward. i understand the pain. i know what it is like to be abused, left behind, and broken.
but i made it out, and so. can. you.
find three things that may bring you healing. reading, exercise, nature, tv show, friends - whatever it is, find three things and do them each day.
allow only 5 minutes a day to dwell over any pain, and then spend the rest of the day healing. if it tries to come back, tell it “no! you’ve had your time.” i believe in you. let’s heal together... and always choose kindness.
