Phrases like “beast mode”, go hard or go home, and “no pain no gain” surround the fitness industry, so naturally you think you have to suffer through grueling works to achieve fitness.
well, i’m here to tell you, if that is your thought process then you would be wrong. the true value of fitness is in sustainability.
the goal is to be fit for life, not for a year.
the best way to achieve sustainability is through the process developing:
good habits – meal prepping or don’t snack between meals are good examples. remember, good habits are as addictive as bad habits but much more rewarding.
accountibility – finding a dependable workout is a great way to hold each other accountable for workouts and dieting. remember, accountability is the glue that ties commitment to the result. be committed to the process.
focus - don’t focus on the end result.a lack of focus each day will lead to a lack in progress. this process doesn’t get any easier as you go, the difference is, you get better.
being patient – every day is another chance to get stronger, to eat better, to live healthier, and to be the best version of you. this isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon.
repeat – it’s a process, it’s a process, it’s a process and change takes time. just keep repeating the process.
so guys, what’s holding you back from starting this process?
waiting is a terrible habit, live your dreams and take some risk because life is happening now.
