Morning coconut yoghurt porridge made with a mix of oats and quinoa flakes to start the week.
1/2 cup of oats and a 1/3 cup of quinoa flakes, 1 tbsp of mixed seed and milled flaxseed, 3 tbsp of coconut yoghurt, cover with almond milk and then stir.
soak or cook straight away.
serve into bowl and topped with mixed berry chia jam, banana, cacao nibs, chopped pecans and a couple of chocolate buttons - this monday morning needed a button hit! #healthytwists#almondmilk#oats#oatmeal#porridge
Bowls of almond butter and date porridge.
made in a pan with enough oats for 2 bowls - roughly 1/2 a cup of oats each. 3 heaped tbsp of coconut yoghurt, 1 mashed banana, 1 large date - d stone and diced, 1 tsp of almond butter- cover in cashew mylk and stir. then leave to soak for 20 mins or so.
cook slowly adding water or more mylk until you reach your ideal porridge-ness.
