in a minute
going around my room, trying to find a note that i prepared for you. it was 6:42; the sun has just risen from its horizon and the stars have disappeared. the birds chirped as i finally found a small peace of paper that i will give you. i ran downstairs, exiting my house and running towards you making sure not to trip and fall on the slippery streets. i could hear your laugh, that is how i knew i was really close to your home. as i got closer i saw you standing outside, talking on your phone. i ran up to you and waved at you. you flashed me your angelic smile and winked at me, making all my insides turn.
you had your backpack on, getting ready to leave for school. i took out the note and gave it to you. you hung up the phone, saying goodbyes to the person on the other side. your fingers slowly traced over the small note. you opened it up and i stood there watching you. ' meet me at the park at 1:35 pm; i have something important to tell you xx ' you looked at me sceptically and i just said a quick, s****d excuse and waved my goodbyes to you and ran to school.
after school finished it was around 12:35 pm and i went straight to the park, maybe a s****d decision but none the less i did. the park was full of kids that finished school and they were siting either with their friends or boyfriends/ girlfriends.
i sat on a bench and watched as the leaves slowly fell from the trees as the wind blew slightly, the branches moving from the impact. i looked at my watch every single minute, waiting for you. i always liked you, it was not really that hard to notice; there were so many things that i wanted to tell you, how much you mean to me, how you make me laugh so much, how i care about you but i wanted to keep it simple. i was anxious, scared, nervously tapping my foot against the concrete.
as i looked at my watch it was already 1:33 and i lifted my head up to see your figure slowly appearing in my view. i sighed, thinking it's now or probably never. you got closer and closer and my heartbeat got louder and louder every second, i could swear that you would hear it when you come close; [ cont. in the comments ]
