The essence of adaption 🤸🏻♀️ how flexible are you in your thinking 🤔
how malleable are you under pressure 🔥 what the hell does that have to do with my #stickytoffee

well when i describe true health & wellness to people i use the analogy of adaptability 👉🏻 we are only as well as our bodies can cope with the onslaught we are faced with day to day 💫 . .
and when we talk about #brainhealth
in particular, well that’s when i get really excited 👏🏻 this is because our nervous systems are basically a solar system of newly (& continuously evolving) possibilities ✨.
yes those most important elements of our being 👉🏻 our brains & all the electrical circuitry that come from them are potentially the most fascinating thing to this little nerdathon over here 🤩 because when we talk about the potential to be plastic (not referring to the stuff we’re trying to eliminate from our world here chaps, i’m talking mouldable in structure) these are the areas where new research is unearthing actual mind boggling stuff 🙌🏻.
where once we thought we couldn’t regenerate brain tissue after trauma we see specific forms of omega 3 (dha) turning the tables in s****e patients 💫 .
where we thought post addictive symptoms were life long reminders of a passed wanted to be forgotten we see iv amino acids being curative 💫.
where once we thought crushing depression & anxiety could only be managed with pharmaceuticals we see ayurvedic herbs & micronutrients clearing the clouds for those who have lived in the grey for too long 💫.
now this is an area that needs a thesis rather than a caption but to sum up offering a little lubrication to your brain is something that gets my thumbs up big time 🙌🏻 and to link it back to the #cake
