I can’t ever get enough 🤤 raw maple & nut butter caramel slice! a variation of one of my favourite recipes, don’t forget to save it🙏🏼 or maybe tag a friend or two you’d like to share these with 🥰
you can use any nut butter or seed butter, or a mix, but i’ve used
@nutsaboutlifeaustralia premium nut spread with almonds, brazil nuts, cashews & macadamias (it is so so good).

maple & nut butter caramel slice
base
3/4 cup nuts of choice
3/4 cup pitted dates
middle layer
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup rice malt syrup
1/2 cup nut butter
3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/4 tsp vanilla
topping
100g vegan chocolate, melted
to make the base, process the nuts into fine pieces. add the remaining ingredients and process again to combine. press into a lined baking sheet or container.
place all ingredients for the middle layer in a bowl and mix until smooth. spread over the base. place in the freezer to set for an hour or two, then spread over the melted chocolate and slice. you can keep this in the freezer, just let soften a few moments before serving.
