“how do you homeschool your kids, while also taking care of toddlers.” a question i got in ig stories yesterday. i don’t feel qualified to give folks advice, but i am happy to share our failures and successes! so far what works for us is having a rhythm to our days that make for content little people. when we are doing projects or school with the big kids, the 3 little ones just want to be involved! they just want to be part of the group, and even as young as 2 ( almost 3 🎉) they feel valued and part of the team when we let them help. when the girls are working in workbooks, the boys are right there with their little note books and crayon rolls “working”. when we are out doing farm chores as a family, the little ones have their own baskets for collecting eggs, and scraps to feel the chickens. when we all clean the house, i don’t expect them to actually get things super clean, but they can learn to put toys into a basket and put their little clothes in the laundry basket. it’s always a mess and never perfect, but such is mothering!
