now anyone who knows me will laugh as i vowed before having kids i would never fall victim to the mum cut lol... oh how life has changed for this mumma right here. if i'm truly honest i vowed to never do allot of other things but oh how many back flips i've done in the last 8 months!
i never thought the day would come, i booked my usual appointment with my hairdresser thinking i was just going to go and do the same old thing (cover them greys and get a trim) but a few days before i started to think hmmmm could i pull it off? me with a mum cut... naturally the first thing i did was ask my hubby his thoughts, mind you i was getting ready for a "nah just leave it how it is, i like you with long hair" but was shocked when he said why what were you thinking.. i immediately thought dam i might be doing this so off to pinterest i went, after an 1hr of scrolling through pics of "short hairstyles" and "short hairstyle trends" i finally found some inspo! showed hubby and he was keen so of course i texted my hairdresser and the rest of history.
i was lucky my hairdresser knows me to a t and was able to create a mum cut that also made me feel like a million bucks! any other mumma's take the plunge and got the "mum cut"? did you love it or thought hmm not for me? i would love to see your pics.. comment below x
This nurse fell asleep while on duty with our son while he was very medically fragile. so asleep in fact that my husband was able to get ready for work loudly, get his shoes on and take a picture of her sleeping. this is all after she admitted to us that she's fallen asleep on other clients before, "especially the trach/vent kids, where you have to sit in their room with them in the dark. sometimes i'll just throw a blanket on and close my eyes." we met with the person in charge at the local office and our nursing manager and they did nothing, clearly. whether she's over worked by the company or chooses to over work herself, she put our son's life in danger and is one of the biggest reasons we stopped night nursing very quickly. we only kept nursing because one of my best friends from college became our only nurse. we are sharing this story to shed light that just because someone, something or some company looks good on social media doesnt mean it's true. please do your research when it comes to your kids and your kids health care, trust your gut and always advocate for them!! no one knows what's best for your child but you! #southreystrong#advocateforyourchild#chop#chopfamily#southreystrongcommunity#wahm#warriormom#sahm#medicalmom#homenursing#homehealthcare#atlanticcountynj
