I’ve been watching mel robbins a lot lately, and the biggest thing i’ve learned is that your body doesn’t know the difference between fear & excitement! both emotions elicit the same physical response, which is why we’re sometimes anxious in situations we should be excited about!
if you’re used to running yourself into a tail spin (like i was), you will automatically assume what you’re feeling is fear! so what can we do?
when you feel yourself getting anxious, flip it in your mind and start telling yourself you’re excited instead! it sounds silly, but if you focus on the good that can come out of it, you’ll be able to handle the situation with much more grace!💕
