This disney-loving family caught @disneyonice at @newcastleentertainmentcentre today and were not disappointed!
fooey was so excited to see mickey mouse, donald duck, goofy and olaf.
twooey was mesmerised by the lights and colours.
disney is almost 'religion status' in our family so to see our little ones so excited to see characters from our own childhood was a heart-melter!
we were worried prior as to how our active 2.5 year old was going to go sitting for 2 hours but disney on ice have organised their show so that the stories are short and sharp with plenty to look and wow at!
does that mean he didn't squirm like a worm in his seat every now and then...no...but he didn't c***k it and force us to leave early with lots of kicking and screaming so we are going to chalk this one up to a win!
if you were contemplating going but hesitated because you were worried whether your toddler would enjoy it, definitely worth a rethink!
don't forget to dress up if you do go, it's part of the fun!
i may have been the only 30 year old in attendance dressed as tinkerbell but hey, i guess i took peter pan seriously when he told me to 'never grow up!' ✨💫 now only 4.5 years until we take our kiddos to @disneyland - yep, i'm already counting! 🏰
