Days 99 & 100/100!! donezo!! as my project comes to an end, i have been reflecting on it. the end is bittersweet, i must admit. i have had a lot of milestones and i have learned so much, and i wanted to share some of that with you. • first, i want to send a huge thank you @elleluna
for facilitating this incredible project! it’s really made a huge impact on me, and i’m so grateful 😊 thank you!! • during this project, i have not loved everything i have created or shared, but i can say i am so proud of what i’ve done. one hundred days is no joke man-it is hard. but it was so much fun to explore every weird idea that i had and share it with you. and i was able to discover what i enjoy creating and also what i don’t. • sometimes things that get the most “likes“ are not what’s life-giving to me, and that is okay. • i have “met“ so many new people and artists through this project, which is a wonderful thing on this platform! i hope that these connections can turn into irl meetings soon! • i shipped my work out for the first time! • my kids have been a huge inspiration for me, but i’ve always painted during naps or after bedtime. now i have learned how to include my kids in part of my process, which is been super fun! • i have learned that the act of being creative begets creativity. • i am learning how to paint more efficiently and am honing my process. i’ve also painted while traveling-which has been wonderful! • i love collaborations!
i am so grateful for all of you, and i don’t know if you’ll totally understand this, but you just “liking“ my work is so encouraging and supportive, and it has really kept me going. i am so thankful for everyone who has purchased a piece of my work-or multiple pieces! it is so fun and amazing to be able to share my work with you and to know that it has a happy place in your home.
i feel like this project is such a part of my dna now that it will be strange not to be thinking about iit or working on it, but i am grateful for the time to end so i can focus on other things. and i’m already excited about next years’ project! (which i’ll share with you in another post) 💕
