Roasties// no christmas dinner is complete without roast potatoes. here are our top tips to get yours super crisp and delicious. 1. use good quality, fresh potatoes - we recommend maris pipers. 2. par boil them in about in a pan of salted water for about 15 minutes. 3. drain them and leave to steam for a minute or two, then give them a light shake around the pan to rough up the edges a little. 4. put 2 tablespoons of either goose or vegetable oil into your roasting tin and let it get nice and hot in the oven before adding your potatoes along with some garlic, rosemary and a good pinch of sea salt and pepper. roast until crisp, golden and delicious (approx 1.5hr).
