Granted these particular meal replacement bars have 10-15g protein (about the same as a @naturevalley.uk bar) but I’m making an assumption that if you’re following SlimFast/Lighterlife or any other product that promotes shakes and bars over food you’re not choosing these for the protein content 🧐.

Bringing some weekend vibes over into the new week. Here are the recipe for the poppy seeds pancakes:
- 250g flour of choice
- 2 eggs or egg replacement
- a dash of sparkling water
- 250ml almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
-1 tsp spices (cinnamon, cardamon,...)
- 5 tbs poppy seeds
- 2 tbs agave syrup
2 tbs coconut oile,
-a pinch of salt
Mix the wet ingredients together. Than add the dry ingredients little by little.

Low Carb Banana, Date & Chia Seed Muffins

These muffins are perfect to make for an on the go breakfast. ✅free of refined sugar
✅vegan
✅dairy free
✅low carb ✅chia seeds ➡️ superfood
✅bananas ➡️ potassium ✅almonds➡️ vit E & high protein 🍌If you like Banana Bread - these are for you! ————————————-
Preheat the oven to 200C

Mix: 🥣in a bowl:
1. 2 cups almond flour 
2. 1 tbsp psyllium husk
3. Pinch of Himalayan salt 🥣in a separate bowl, whisk:
1. 2 overripe bananas, mashed
2. 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
3. 2/3 organic maple syrup 
4. 2/3 unsweetened or homemade almond milk (recipe on page)
5. 2 tsp pure vanilla seeds
6. 6 dates, pitted & chopped
7. 1/4 almonds, shaved OR pumpkin seeds 
Combine all the ingredients well. Divide the batter in a muffin tin - should make 12. Sprinkle each muffin with a few extra shaved almonds or pumpkin seeds

Bake for 20-25 minutes

Pasta pesto --- Look at this delicious pesto pasta that we made in the slow cabin 😍 Made with fresh veggies from the garden and pesto made by the caretakers of the slow cabin! The pesto was vegan and it was soooo good, I wish they made us a big batch to take home! Maybe we can extract the recipe from them 😜 But of course you can also find lots of vegan pesto recipes online. Or buy pesto in a store! Below you can find the recipe for our pesto pasta, it was really simple! --- Annabel

--- Ingredients (for 2) --- - 1 zucchini, diced
- 1 yellow paprika, diced
- A handful of green olives
- A couple of cherry tomatoes, halved
- Ca. 200 g pasta (we used spelt pasta, penne)
- Ca. 3 tbsp green pesto
- 2 cloves of garlic, or use garlic powder
- Salt and pepper

Cook your pasta according to the notes on the packaging. Bake the garlic in a pan with some olive oil and add the zucchini blocks. When turning soft, add the paprika, tomato and olives. Take from the stove and mix the pasta, pesto and greens in your pot. Serve immediately with salt and pepper to your liking!

❤️Obwohl es so warm ist, kann ich es mit dem backen nicht sein lassen 😂Am Wochenende habe ich echt 4 stunden lang in der Küche gestanden! Was rausgekommen ist zeige ich auch die nächsten Tage wenn alles fertig bearbeitet ist ☺️Bis dahin sollten euch die Muffins hoffentlich bei „futterlaune“ halten (bin ich nicht witzig^^)

📝Rezept | 6 Stück
Teig
🔹75g Haferflockenmehl
🔹50g Kichererbsenmehl
🔹5g Backpulver
🔹4g Mohn
🔹25 gemahlene Mandeln
🔹100mL Soyamilch
🔹150g Apfelmus
🔹Saft 1 Zitrone
🔹100g Heidelbeeren
Guss
🔹25g Puderzucker
🔹1 1/2 TL Zitronensaft
1️⃣Ofen auf 180 Grad vorheizen. Alle trockenen Zutaten zusammen mischen.
2️⃣Apfelmus mit der Milch und dem Zitronen Saft verrühren. Du den trockenen Zutaten geben und gut mischen. 
3️⃣Teil in die Form füllen und mit Heidelbeeren toppen. Ca 25-30min backen
4️⃣Abkühlen lassen und mit Zuckerguss toppen.

📝Recipe | 6 Muffins
Batter
🔹75g oat flour
🔹50g chick pea flour
🔹5g baking powder
🔹4g poppy seeds
🔹25 grounded almonds
🔹100mL soy milk
🔹150g apple sauce
🔹Juice 1 lemon
🔹100g blueberries
Frosting
🔹25g powdered sugar
🔹1 1/2 tsp. of lemon juice
1️⃣ Pre heat oven at 180 degrees. Mix dry ingredients together.
2️⃣Mix the apple sauce with the milk and the lemon juice. Add it to the dry ingredients. Mix.
3️⃣Fill the batter in the baking tray and top with blueberries. Bake for 25-30min.
4️⃣Let them cool down. Mix powdered sugar with lemon juice and use it as frosting.
