I fell off my gym routine the past 2 weeks and one half of my brain was telling me to start back after Christmas when everything calms down again and start afresh but luckily the other half of my brain kicked and said β€œDon’t wait till the New Year to get that ass back to the gym β€œπŸ˜€

We have exactly 6 weeks until Christmas β€πŸ’šπŸ™ŒπŸΌ .

...and I'm on a mission now. My good choices have been way out of whack, and with being ill, I've been taking it easy on the workouts (modifiers are my best friends). .

No more! Getting back on that wagon and going full steam ahead for the last 6 weeks. And I feel like the best way of doing that is to set a goal. .
So 5lbs in 6 weeks sounds like a good one to me. I don't normally weigh myself, but I think it might help with a little extra push at the end of the year πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ’ͺ🏼 .

When i first started training I was very confused on how to train properly and was unaware of proper nutrition. Therefore, I wasn't seeing much progress.

Looking back my advice: do not neglect other muscle groups like back, chest and arms. And specially your core training. I train my legs/glutes 3 times a week and every second day, I give my legs and glutes a rest and focus primarily on other muscle groups such as back/chest and arms. And squeezing in some cardio. .
