When i met this man all those years ago, i had no idea what his name was, or anything about him, but it felt like i knew everything about him and couldn’t be away from him any longer than the 20-something years i already had. he was my customer at peet’s coffee, and i called him the paper shredder because he always came into the coffee shop in uniform from that place down the street that said paper shredding. the only thing that seemed off is that somehow he could eat two ham and swiss croissants and still remain so slim. 🤔👽 thanks to my peet’s co-workers at the time who let me ring him up on their registers (just had a sudden urge to work the register 😍), because we passed so many secret notes that way, and i ended up marrying him. and his name, it turns out, is dave. and like he says, he does a lot more than shredding paper. 👨🏭🏡✈️🚙🍳🛠
💙 the best decision i ever made was to follow my intuition about this man. 💙
5 years married to someone who has showed me what partnership really means.
💐 also, he has heard trees talk and thinks the earth will bloom something like the way a flower does. 🌍+💐=🌏🌍 and i think that’s pretty incredible. 🌲👯♂️🌲
💛 if you’re close and know our story a little deeper, then i so appreciate your witnessing this celebration. 💛
