•In order to see change .. we must embrace the challenge ! .

• What I want to say is that, no matter how many injuries I’ve been through. Not one of them got me to say no to never training legs. Just because there are hurdles along the way. Just be humble about it & learn from your mistakes. Life is all about learning & learning about your body is a big thing. Work around it, see what best works for you in order to not trigger that pain or cause another injury. It’s a long journey, I just embrace it & smile that I’ve made it here. Oh incase you all wanted to know what my injury was, it was back in high school days playing footy. I happen to dislocate my left knee 😫 & ever since it has not been the same. Training legs in general hurts like a bi**h but I find my ways of working around it to make sure I still am able to hit them. After that I had a few more knee injuries & my most recent was last year. But nothing will stop me from trying to grow these damn annoying things because I absolutely love the process it takes. I dunno but when I start limping or walking like a penguin the next day or two, it’s like YAAAASS !!! I dunno good feeling 😅😅 NEVER GIVE UP GUYS 👍🏼 .

💥You aren’t tracking your calories!

If you aren’t taking the time to find out if what you are eating is actually healthy, chances are you aren’t tracking your intake either.

Without tracking your macronutrient/caloric intake, there is no way to know if you are on the right track for you to lose fat!

Sure, making healthy food choices is great & maybe you are eating in a caloric deficit...

Here's the biggest tip I can give you guys who can't get into comp shape: that spoon of nutella, that burger or that massive donut you're having, you can only have that if you're in shape. Cheat meals and refeeds is something you earn. Not something you need. 
For first time beginners who want to compete, have a 6 month plan. Plan a show and be realistic with your stage weight. Most of you do not weigh what you think you're gonna weigh. That's why not many people get shredded these days. They think they weigh more than they actually weigh. Prepare to suffer and feel like shit daily. This is what seperates the men from the boys on stage. - #regrann .

SO - I deal with anxiety, a lot 😬 and I’m gonna be honest here: it was nottttt a good weekend for me... 😔 Nothing went super ‘wrong’ per say, but nothing really went as planned either - and I HATE not having a plan. Typically this is the point where I would shut down + hermit up, ignoring people / my responsibilities / promises I made to myself... but NOT TODAY. Instead, I’m using what I’ve learned through all the personal development we’ve been doing to confront how and WHY (important) I’m feeling so negative - and I’m looking IN instead of out 🙏🏻 • 
I think as a ‘life coach’ people often assume that you’ve got everything figured out because you’re good at giving advice - and although sharing truth to those I connect with is my very favorite thing to do on this 🌏... I often have a hard time taking it myself (who can relate???? 🙋🏻‍♀️) •
Look, I still struggle with self-doubt, lack of patience, letting the mean girl in my head take over - and sometimes she does, but she ‘wins’ WAY less than she did back in the day (#highschool) 🥊 + at the end of the day, THAT is what’s important - that we don’t just give up on ourselves. That we deal with our own excuses, criticisms and bull 💩 to get to what’s REALLY going on underneath. That we face our demons face to face - and wink... because we’ve FINALLY got the tools / knowledge to take ‘em on 😉 •
Is it easy? HELL NAHHHH... but it’s the fight of your life FOR your life, so you best believe it’s worth it. If you’re struggling with feeling powerless against bad habits, falling into holes you feel like you can’t get out of or you just need someone to LISTEN - I’m here. Always. 👂🏼 .
