- right now i'm really digging this wedding cake rosin that was pressed from fresh frozen, full spectrum ice water hash.
full spectrum means the complete spectrum of resin heads from the plant. 40 micron all the way up to 190 micron. this is what the plant gave us and we like incorporate all of it into our end product. a full spectrum of flavor and effects.
when working with the full spectrum of resin, some heads will hold less resin compared to what is considered the juiciest prime grades (generally 90 to 120 micron, but some 70 through 150 will occasionally make the grade)
the resin from the other micron grades (40-70 & 120-190) may be smaller heads that didn't develop, larger heads that have been ruptured through contact, or heads that may have dried down due to environmental conditions and the maturity rate of the resin on the plant. how the plant was grown, the environment, genetics and post harvest handling and processing all play a factor.
these factors can result in some resin pressing a slightly darker color when compared to the juiciest and most intact heads.
is this resin bad? no, absolutely not.
if you smoke flower then you're consuming the full spectrum of resin and experiencing all of the effects.
now imagine you smoked a bud and it only had the 90-120 micron resin heads on it....probably wouldn't have the same effect would it?
the level of refinement and choice of presentation is a matter of the desired end result. the desired result in this case is to provide a concentrate that delivers a full flavor and effect and by default produces a higher yield that allows us to be more compassionate towards your wallet.
i love all types of hash and rosin and believe there is a time and a place for everything depending on who you're with and where you're at. everyone has different preferences and tastes!
alrighty, i'm bout to take another dab and do some "work" on the xbox 😁
i hope you guys are all comfortable at home and staying high! ✌️ #honeybutterrosin #fullspectrum #liverosin
