After traveling, i typically come home on a little high. i just had a great adventure and have the urge to just keep going... but i also come home pretty exhausted.
lately i’ve been feeling that exhausted side of things for sure. i’m the q u e e n of landing minutes before having to work and rushing straight there after a long flight — sometimes i’ll walk in the door to work luggage in hand! but right after that stressful transition most likely with a lack of sleep, i like to have a recoop day — which normally consists of reading, relaxing, going on a walk, enjoying a face mask and most importantly drinking water! planes are terrible for your skin and i also find myself in the middle seat (because i refuse to spend money on a seat assignment), then i’m playing the whole don’t drink water or i’ll have to p*e a million times game.

anyway, if you’re ever struggling with jet lag one of my biggest tips is to s l e e p when you normally would — melatonin can be your best friend if you need some extra assistance falling asleep and secondly get yourself o u t s i d e! now i’m not saying you need to train for a marathon, but go on a peaceful walk. fresh air can do wonders!!
what are some of your jet lag tips/tricks?
