So underused in most peoples training programmes. You need to earn the right to be able to bench press ! Working with body weight press’s could work very well in your programme. :

If your new , start with a regressed version like push ups off a high bar or bench. :

If your seasoned then try using rotation handles, & adding them in at the end of your push routine. :

If you squeeze back on your shoulder blades & keep your core integrity then you will reap the benefits. :

All of this!! So I’ve had many people in my life make the subtle jabs saying they’re happy with their body, etc. that’s fine, it’s great actually! But... working out is for my health not my looks, although looking good is a great added bonus. So next time you think you’re being snide and making subtle jabs at those who lift maybe you should look at the bigger picture, are you going to be happy with your body 10 years from now when hypertension, high cholesterol and obesity are looming?? Hello! I’m annoyed of people saying something about the way i look soooooo I’ll vent here. I’m gonna do what I want :-). If i want to get super swole and “bulky” I will do that. If I want to get super toned I will do that. If i want to stay the same I WILL DO THAT. The amazing thing about lifting is that YOU get to choose what you want to do with your body. You want nice delts? Do it. You want big biceps? You can do that too. Want a very large bum?? Go and BUILD IT. I wasn’t lucky enough to get great genes and have a perfect body (if you do that’s frikin awesome congrats, but not me) I had to work HARD to get where I am and I’m not even close to done/ where I want to be. I’m gonna keep going and doing me whether people like it or not 🤷🏻‍♀️enjoy your day!! And don’t let anyone make you feel like you’re not good enough!!
