After watching @paulrevelia
yt video 🎥 on self-negativity towards competing at the national level, i did some reflecting 🤔 on where i’m at as a competitor.
i’m super h*****n myself and many times lose sight of what i’ve already accomplished because i’m so focused on the next goal 🏆. the main goal at the start of my season last year was to earn my nga bikini pro card (achieved ✅). i never had plans to compete at the npc national level originally, but i ended up competing at north americans and took 4th place!
as soon as i decided to fully go after becoming an ifbb pro, i let the accomplishment of becoming a natural pro get buried 🙈. news flash zoey 🗣: it’s pretty dang cool to be a professional bodybuilder no matter what federation it’s in! while being an ifbb pro is considered to be more prestigious, earning any pro status 🌟 should never be undermined.
especially as a serious competitor, taking a step back to reflect on every achievement ❤️, no matter how small, is crucial in this sport. it’s so easy to look at others and think you aren’t good enough or the opposite and let one win skyrocket your ego.
my keys to success 🔑: stay humble and proud, but don’t ever think you are unworthy!!
