The return of sumo deadlift, a.k.a cheater pull. Form is rusty 😅, haven't done sumo for 2+ months. New pr with 180 kg for 8 reps, and continued with 165 kg 3s x 3reps paused deadlift.

Since i have not a lot of place inside, winter is perfect to work on those splits instead of handstands. I confess that i find the seconds way more fun but it would be such an achievement to be more flexible... Well i'm far from fullsplits but i'm following @bohobeautifullife video to get there and anyway i appreciate the journey 🌺

Another hamstring glute day in the books! I took the past three days off from the gym, primary because of rescuing dogs, but also in a little bit of a mental funk. Today’s workout definitely helped me put a little pep in my step! As a professional athlete, you have to take your recovery seriously. I literally have a recovery team: Weekly visits with @fightletics, who’s always taking care of the whole team. 
Weekly visit with @the_muscle_doc, when he’s not traveling the world being a badass.

🐧Hamstrings are chronically tight for vast numbers of people, especially in today’s day and age with all of the sitting we do.
.
🐧Now let’s mix it up a little, when the pelvis is loaded by the hamstring complex, it drags on the ischial tuberosity on either side. . 🐧So what do we do? We stretch the hamstrings, except, the problem is, the hip is already torqued into an anterior tilt, so unloading the hamstring complex simply provides more slack for more of an anterior tilt.
.
🐧You guessed it, the hamstrings get loaded again, and this continues.  If you really want your hamstrings to free up, change two things:
1. Abdominal strength
2. Hip flexor pliability .
🐧I’m super pumped because I have @amberleibrock with me today, she’s a great friend and a seriously lethal fighter, and she just happens to have a pulled hamstring! .
🐧Try this series for some amazing hamstring rehab and all around pliability increase.  Btw, give her a follow, her page is amazing!
