Snack 1 - 1 cup 2% fage Greek yogurt with stevia, cinnamon, 2 tbsp pecans & 1 chopped persimmon (peach would also be a good sub!)

Snack 2 - Baked pear cut in half, scoop out seeds & cook @ 350F for 30 minutes topped with walnuts, cinnamon, 1/2 tsp honey and 1 tbsp Greek Yogurt. .
Snack 3 - 1 cup oatmeal with 3 tbsp pumpkin puree, stevia, dash of cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice topped with walnuts and golden raisins.

Snack 4 - Homemade trailmix with 2 tbsp walnuts, 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds, 1 tbsp cashews + 1 tbsp dried cherries.

Snack 5 - 1 apple cut into slices topped with 1-2 tbsp creamy peanut butter + 1 tbsp chocolate chips.

After my amazing outdoor time, I decided to get my #fagormulticooker out of the box and try it out!! I put a completely frozen, almost 6lb, whole chicken in it, and in ONE HOUR it was falling off the bone perfect! While it cooked, I made homemade mayo and hard boiled eggs, and tidied up the fridge to make room for my meal prepping. After I shredded the cooked chicken, the broth in the pot was great, so I added water, some of the shredded chicken, a drop of #doterra cilantro oil, and some organic fire roasted diced tomatoes, and now I have the base for tortilla soup for dinner tomorrow! I am definitely going to enjoy this #multicooker ! .

The struggle is real people.
When I wear my hat as a health and wellness mentor, I often have to remember my own struggles with weight loss so I can better serve those that put their trust in me. Many of us go through a time in our lives after having kids, starting a career (or more than one), and experiencing hormonal changes before we realize it.

So this past week, I started a “hormone reset.” Hormones dictate how we use nutrients in our bodies - burning or storing. I decided it was time for me to “renetwork” my hormones to my advantage. To burn fat and not store it. To have energy so I can play with my kids and wake up rejuvenated. I said goodbye to a lot of things I enjoy in my diet, but replaced them with nutrients I know will bring me back to burning fat for fuel and focus, and build a stronger system through this season to fight unpredictable illnesses. 
If you’re ready for a “reset” this season, hit me up. I’m looking for some folks that are ready to feel some love for our bodies, and get a little soulful too.
