Random facts about me:
1. born and raised in washington state, usa. who else is from here? when i travel most people think i am from sweden. my mom is half swedish so that’s pretty neat.
2. i’ve been an internet geek since i was 9 or 10.. i think? can’t remember off the top of my head right now. my dad bought me a desktop, with my own aol dial up! (i begged for one of those cool colorful apple ones, but he wanted me to get a dell😑). i’d go into kid chat rooms and eventually made online friends and started making website and coding with them after school and on weekends. i loved it and it’s all i wanted to do. after a while, i learned how to an use photoshop. my website was just a blog with what was going on in my life. i had to mail in money every year for my domain name because i didn’t want my mom to know, lol. i’ve always love the online world, most of my friends growing up were people i met online.. i guess it hasn’t changed much. 🤷🏼♀️
3. my love for travel started from my dad. he would take us to mexico twice a year and alaska. i learned spanish growing up because he was fluent. he later took us to brazil when i was 11 and i was so fascinated by being there. i went to thailand when i was 16 with my mom and sisters and didn’t want to leave. later when i was 17 i lived in switzerland for a year as an exchange student. i worked very hard to get a full sponsorship to study there my last year of high school. definitely one of the best years of my life. i didn’t want to go to college after that and just wanted to travel. i went to community college and wanted it, but it was the best way to save money. when i was 20 i used to be the biggest hippie and hitch hiked to mt. shasta from portland. which, i don’t recommend doing now.. but have some pretty crazy stories because of it.
✌🏼that’s all for now. 😂
