As women we are way to critical of our bodies. I started weight lifting consistently December 2017, and the whole time I felt like I wasn’t seeing any changes in the scale, because as women we also focus on that damn scale too much. I finally stopped letting the scale be my guide, and still discouraged because I didn’t think I was seeing changes. Saturday past I looked at myself in the mirror, and then found progress photos on my phone an I notice obliques are started to make an hour glass figure. Number on the scale hasn’t changed, but many of my habits have. Ain’t no party like a #humpday #pintparty because a pint party is delicious 🙌🎉 Sent my dad to get ice cream so I didn’t know what flavor to expect so @halotopcreamery birthday cake pint topped with @littlesecretsco pumpkin spice candies (why did I only get one bag 😢) @smartbarkorganic crispy quinoa bark and the last remnants of my rainbow #spranks 🎉 
Today’s thoughts: Be okay with being uncomfortable, making changes and sacrifices. That’s how we grow and progress. Just tiny little steps can make a difference and sometimes, looking back, the sacrifices, the struggles, they don’t seem so bad when we see the end result. 
And look, we made it halfway through the week again without combusting! Look out, we thriving over here 😂❤️ How is your week going? Have you gone out of your comfort zone this week?

I started deadlifting again in September. So far, I’ve added ~60lbs to my deadlift. 325➡️385 in a month and half. Goal is 410 lbs by the end of 2018. 500lbs by April 2019. I’m deadlifting 1x a week.

This was absolutely the best #brinner ever! 
I finally found @kodiakcakes almond poppy seed. It is absolutely amazing. I added an egg, cashew milk then topped it with 2 tablespoons @traderjoes vanilla bean maple syrup 🍁 
140g strawberries mashed up 
And 40g of cool whip. 3 slices over reallY over cooked bacon 🥓 (love it this way) 
Macros:
672 calories 
78 carb 
30 fat
26 protein .
I am okay with this because it totally fit into my day. Thank you iifym!!! Plus I still have 200 calories left over and I am stuffed so I won’t be eating those!

Dinner took 40min. For Ramen lol Macros: Calories 955 C99 F66 F31 All Day Macros: Calories 1658 C166 P117 F61 So on point with my goals 😊

Glorified ramen takes some prep work 😂 boiling the noodles until al dente , taking it out then boiling the yuchoy, then Slicing thin round eye beef steak and gently touch in hot water so still med. rare, egg, shrimp cooked then place on top noodles then poor broth on top lol. Too many steps but I do not have time to make pho or yukejang so this is the best replacement lol

1 small red onion, sliced
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 carrots, sliced on the bias
1 cup broccoli florets 
1 cup snow peas
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
4 cups cooked brown rice 
Chipotle Lime Sauce
½ cup olive oil
½ cup lime juice
½ cup honey
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon chipotle powder
1 teaspoon cumin
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste 
Teriyaki Sauce
1 cup soy sauce
½ cup honey
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced 
1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
1 tablespoon sesame oil

PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 425˚F/220˚C. 
Spray a parchment paper-lined baking sheet with cooking spray. Place the red pepper, yellow pepper, and red onion on the left half of the sheet and the carrots, broccoli, and snow peas on the right half. Set aside.
