From Feb 2015- July 2017, I was all about losing weight, losing inches, getting smaller, shrinking, fitting into smaller clothes, dropping sizes, eating less and so on..

I am not criticizing you if these are some of your goals/ things that help you stay motivated, but according to me there is no end to that shrinking mentality or ‘I will be happy when I lose x kgs weight’‼️ As a human, you are allowed to #takeupspace

You can lose x kgs and still be unhappy.
💭 If we attach the concept of happiness with the ‘end goal’, we might never feel happy at the present.

Looking at the brighter side, social distancing means healthy snacking at home. Also, my bae, mango, is back and also tastes the right amount of sweet and amazing! So, made some Mangolicious Chia Pudding last weekend for a couple of my friends. It serves as an easy peasy and healthy dessert/snack/breakfast. I ate it for dessert and as a part of my breakfast the next day.

You will need the following for 2 servings:
- 1/4 cup of chia seeds
- 200 ml of coconut/almond/any milk of choice (Read: I would highly recommend coconut.)
- 1/2 a medium sized mango diced into pieces
- 3-4 diced strawberries, optional
- A pinch of Cinnamon
- 1 tsp. of natural vanilla extract, optional
- 1-2 drops of Stevia liquid or 1/2 tsp. Honey, optional
- 1/2 tsp. of pumpkin seeds

How do you go about it?
- Mix the chia seeds, milk, vanilla, stevia or choice of sweetner in a bowl and refrigerate for an hour.
- In a bowl/mason jar/whatever-floats-your-boat, stack this mixture and then freshly cut mangoes and strawberries.
- Garnish with some nuts/seeds/mint. And you are done!

As you keep progressing in bodyweight training, you realise how important flexibility and mobility is to longevity. This is especially true for handstands. The harsh reality in my case is that flexibility wise, i suck balls. 
So since my aim is to learn the press to handstand this year, that means i inevitably have to spend more time working on my flexibility. As someone who's never been flexible, i can admit that personally i find flexibility training much more difficult and painful to do than strength training. 
So being able to touch my palms in the floor is sort of an achievement for me, but i do realise that it's not that big of a deal 😂

Nevertheless, motivates me to keep going and shows that whatever I'm doing is working. Onwards and upwards i guess...

3 years back, I had enough excuses not to start. I call them excuses not reasons because they really were excuses. I had given myself enough excuses (about 9-10 years) to neglect my health. Part of it was social conditioning and the other part was me being lazy and careless.

But, years of ignoring my health does not mean I continue to do that today right?!

The pictures here show my physical transformation #bbgprogress by using @kayla_itsines BBG program in @sweat app for 3+ years but my REAL progress is the mental one and is much more than these pictures can tell.

That mental progress is what is keeping me so POSITIVE at this time of #coronapocalypse .
The mental progress is what motivates me to KEEP MOVING irrespective of how the outside world is.
That mental progress keeps me GROUNDED and CONNECTED to my body when I feel anxious worrying about my family in India. 
That mental progress is what makes me more DISCIPLINED, helps me FOCUS and be PRODUCTIVE at work too.
That mental progress is what makes me go past the guilt associated with food and truly FOCUS ON BEING GRATEFUL.
That mental progress motivates me to be better at other areas of life - personal and professional.
