“if you can’t change something, change your attitude” .
i’m the first one to admit that i struggle with mental barriers, most from fear of change and the stubborn and destructive belief that i adopted at an early age “my way or the highway.” as i get older, i have learnt that not everything will go your way, situations are constantly changing and people have different ways of thinking, and the only way to keep your sanity is to change your attitude instead of trying to change something or someone that you simply can’t. adversity and challenges are not only normal but also healthy for our course in life to keep us humble and and even stronger than ever. .
you will deal with difficult people and situations in life, it’s inevitable, so the only way to breakthrough these obstacles is to change the way you see things and change your attitude ✨
ps. george (the bird) didn’t want to leave the edge of the pool (can you blame him) so instead of letting the situation upset me because i really wanted to take a photo there, i changed my attitude and perspective and embrace the opportunity and loved the result (even though he didn’t get the memo that he is supposed to be posing ! ha )
