LONG IMPORTANT READ: 💕If I could post these pictures everyday, I would. ( my saying I can’t but then I wouldn’t be showing any other content). I’ve said it before and I’ll repeat myself again because I think it’s so important to touch on. I got “questioned” / “ judged” on the first 2 pictures. “why do you still look pregnant?” .. or “ I didn’t look like that after I had my baby” , and I’ve had women come to me asking why they still looked pregnant after 2 dats or 4 days or 6 days. LADIES, my friends... we just HAD A BABY! Our bodies went through something for the past 8-9 months ( I say 8 because Noah came 5 weeks early). Our bodies had so much going on!! ITS OKAY TO STILL LOOK PREGNANT AFTER A MONTHS, NEVER MIND 2,3, or 5 days later! Don’t ever think it’s not okay! Y’all just did something AMAZING! We take care of our babies and we can take care of ourselves too! I also get judged by not being with my baby 24/7 as if I can’t take of myself or have “me” time. OKAY FIRST OF ALL , we are allowed to have “me” time, we are allowed to take care of ourselves too! Does our baby needs it’s momma? Yes they do!, but we need ourselves too. Ladies, when you’re baby is sleeping,do what you  want to do whether it’s sleeping too, exercising, reading, shopping, doing your nails, having sex ( YESSSS I went there people 🤷🏽‍♀️) and obviously this is after your first postpartum visit and the MD gives you the ok 👍🏽 . Ladies, I will always say this till I am blue on the face, everyone is different. Everyone’s journey will be different. I am not you and you are not me. This may work for me and it may not work for you. Don’t ever feel the need to race to get to your pre pregnancy body because it took us 8-9 months to have our baby. And don’t EVER let someone make you feel like you aren’t do enough for your child and don’t need “me” time. You are allowed to! We are allowed to!

Really allows me to push through my glutes and keep my back neutral! And I could lift with (aka steal @mines_better’s equipment) my man even though we were not lifting the same thing. Sunday Funday! Today was busy:) Got chores and meal prep done today! I love having a productive Sunday. Here is a workout you can do before bed. All you need is a wall. Today’s exercise is a Wall sit with front raise. Keeping your upper body against the wall make sure you lower to 90 degrees with your legs. Make sure your knee are over your ankles. Then take arms straight and pull up to shoulder height. Lower back down and repeat. Draw your core in as you lift your arms up. Flow your breath and try and stay in the wall sit for the whole time. •
Do this for a 60 second hold and repeat 2-3 rounds. You can do it! Keep up with your daily workouts and in no time you will have created a regular habit:)

I swear this week went to shit because i started out the week with crazy shifts that i took all of Monday to sleep because i felt sick from working so late and getting lack of sleep from trying to hit the gym as well when i can.. then i fell back into my pattern midweek. THEN my car is in the shop and that’ll take 2 more days so how am i getting to the gym?🤷🏼‍♀️ im getting pure anxiety. So hopefully the gym Gods will help me out next week🙏🏼 and God will help push me to fulfill my destiny. ❤️ -

If you wanna shape your tush DO NOT be afraid to LIFT HEAVY. Your bum is composed of muscles so just like any other area of the body you want to shape or define, lifting, pushing and pulling heavy resistance that works the glutes will build them up nice n’ round. No one wants a 🥞
Everyone wants a 🍑 -
Exercises that work the different glute muscles:
• squats (all kinds & variations) • lunges • deadlifts
• curtesy lunges • kick-backs • hip abductors
• glute bridges • hip thrusters • donkey kicks
• clamshells • sprints 
Start with body weight or minimal additional resistance and concentrate on proper form. Then progressively add weight to keep challenging yourself and making those gains! -
No gym? No problem - get yourself a set of mini bands (I recommend the Booty Band set from @thexbands) and use these. You’ll be surprised how effective they are!! -
