campaign we were asked to raise awareness for the cause while sharing a favorite dish.
we chose tabouli because most of the ingredients may be homegrown or easily found otherwise, and it is a simple, popular dish that both nourishes and brings people together.

ingredients -3 bushels of medium sized parsley, cleaned & finely chopped -6 medium tomatoes, chopped into small cubes -juice of 2 squeezed lemons -quarter cup of burghal #1
-2 teaspoons of salt -1 large onion finely chopped -1 teaspoon of black pepper
-quarter cup extra v****n olive oil -15 fresh mint leaves, chopped (or 2 tablespoons of dried mint)
1) mix the onion, salt, & black pepper together
2) combine the burghal with the tomato
3) combine the parsley, tomatoes, mint and onion together
4) and lemon juice and olive oil & toss
salt to taste, add more lemon juice if preferred
