Let’s continue the ...stories (see previous post) with my #shoestory
my love for shoes started at a very young age. 3 to be exact.
i remember my mom had a pair of camel colored, over the knee boots, that i just loved. i took them out of her closet and put them on as often as i could. they covered my whole legs, of course. but funny thing is, even though they were several sizes too big, and had heels, i could still walk in them. 😱😳💪🏻
fast forward -
i walk into the shoe section at #bergdorfs
in nyc, #shoeheaven
if you ask me, and saw the most perfect shoes - a pair of camel colored suede pumps with a red sole. pure perfection. i hadn’t really heard about the brand (it was all about #manolos
back then) but thought that the red sole made them look so feminine and sexy. i felt like all that wearing them out to dinner that night 😬.
today i know what the shoe model was - #pigalle
(my all time favorite #louboutin) but, with only, a 100mm heel.
even though i’m a louboutin freak (i’ve met mr louboutin himself several times, this last time he actually named me lolita 🤣🤪) i still wore a pair of #jimmychoo #swarovski
bejeweled sandals at my wedding. a pair that sarah jessica parker wore in s*x and the city that they did a remake of years later. it was, of course, a no brainer. and there you have it. #myshoestory
