I decided a few weeks back i was going to make corned beef from scratch. it was an epic win!
picture 1 - yesterday's post 15k row meal with homemade corned beef round #1.
picture 2 - toasting pickling spices today for corned beef round #2
picture 3 - boiling pickling spices with salt and sugar for brine
picture 4 - 7lb brisket settled in to "corn" for the next week.
i've never had better corned beef, and that's not just tooting my own horn i've had half a dozen folks agree.
