today, i would like to talk about cakes (mostly because i always want to talk about cakes!) 🍰
this is a “standard three tier buttercream cake” in a “off-set spin” design. we used to call it the “finger smush” because, to us, it looks like you held your finger on the side as you spun the cake stand. but that’s not the best way to sell a cake 😂
each tier cake has two layers of cake with buttercream between them. each cake is a different flavour (or they can all be the same, totally up to you). this cutie is chocolate cake, ferrero rocher and red velvet.
the exterior is vanilla buttercream - but if you aren’t looking for a white cake, the flavour can be anything!
we can embellish with gold or other colour. we can do designs (or not). each tier can be different (or not). it totally up to you. 💎
none of these things change the price! you should be able to make lots of decisions about your cake without breaking the bank. we can absolutely do specialty fillings and elaborate designs, but that’s up to you! 🖤
my favourite cakes often incorporate fresh flowers and florists always know what will look amazing on a cake (and stand up to being out of water!). and i’ve now met so many amazing florists in the city (i know i’m a lucky girl)! and by working with your florist for cake blooms ensures that your vision is carried out across your entire event. we are happy to put blooms and greenery on your cake at your venue (because we don’t want you to pay additional delivery fees!) but if you’d prefer to have them done at the bakery, we can do that too! 💐
this cake is $125. it will feed 100 people (or 26 people if you cut slices as large as i would like to eat them 😉). i hope i’ve encouraged you to add a little more cake to your life. and why relegate three tier cakes to just weddings? the world needs more cake! .
