Over the past few days i’ve been intentionally unloading. if you’re the type of person that carries a lot of worry, a lot of ridicule specifically about yourself, a lot of unnecessary baggage, ask god to show you how to unload those things. ask him to show you how to cast your cares on him. you need to know exactly what does that look like, or sound like for you specifically. for me it’s through prayer, talking with someone that i know is rational, listening to uplifting music and also keeping on task for the things that currently need my attention only. the moment my mind starts to drift, heaviness starts to creep back in, and i’ve realized that i can’t get to where i want to be with all of this mental weight. mental weight, to me, is the heaviest kind of weight because it can literally slow us down physically. there’s no time like the present to start your “mental workout plan” and get that weight off and get to your goals in life!
