We drove up to medora, nd on wednesday and tent camped for three nights. it rained the first night but was nice and dry for the following three nights.
while in medora, we saw theodore roosevelt national park. this park combines prairie grasslands with colorful, hilly badlands, providing a unique landscape that shelters bison, elk, deer, and antelope. we visited the north and south units, driving through each unit and stopping for a few hikes. we had the dogs with us, so we took turns hiking, and it was fun to be able to bring them along for our national park adventures.
this carousel is a little highlight reel of all the sights we saw in teddy roosevelt! second photo was our campsite. 🙂 happy first day of fall, and happy national public lands day! 🍂✌🏼
