I am 14 days strong of eating a plant based diet! i haven't really had any cravings for cheese or eggs which has surprised me. i think what's challenging, maybe fun is a better word, is finding alternative ways to make my go to meals and then create new recipes! and above all of that, i don't have to deal with the sluggishness after! i am getting my protein😜 what's funny is thats the first thing people tell me after i tell them i'm eating plant based... the majority of the animals society eats, eat plants which is the main source of their protein intake. marketing and the media engrain in our brain that we have to eat meat to get protein and its simply not true! now, do i have to make sure im getting a well rounded diet of all proteins? sure! i am learning all about my foods nutrients and ensure i pair the right foods together to get a well balanced diet! 🥑🥗
i hadn't ran (or worked out) since wednesday as my body needed a break so instead of upping mileage today i just went 8 again! i felt so much better than last sunday and was able to run the whole 8 miles and not breaking the run up. it was a tad bit cooler here so that helped a little 👌
as always, i listened to @yourhopecity
trials & trophies part 3 sermon this morning🙏🙏 amazing as always! pastor jeremy speaks the truth in a way that is so relatable in today's world. while my run is challenging, listening to the sermon helps the first 5 miles go by a lot quicker!😌❤🙏
hope everyone has a blessed sunday!!!
