i sought out a vegan place after i checked out and found one not too far away.
it had a cool vibe even before i walked in the door. (it's in reused shipping containers!) ok.
the vibe continued as i walked in the door and entered a chill ambience attended to by #prettypeople
i sat down at a table for two near a corner of the smallish but comfortable restaurant and practiced one of my favorite pastimes, people watching.
i got to observing that the majority of people that worked there and were patrons were good-looking people in (what appeared to be) good health.
i made the initial #prettyinsideandout
observation because people seemed pretty on the outside, but i guessed that they were somewhat pretty on the outside too.
or else, why would they eat at a vegan restaurant? it's either they are concerned about their health, animals or the environment or all of the above. to me, that makes them pretty.
of course, i'm generalizing and am biased since by default, i'm including myself in this group... but still.
i'll generally believe this until i'm proven completely wrong.
a side note: the workers who work in vegan restaurants, in general, tend to be pretty chill and amicable. (yes, you may say, that's their job. however, you've probably experienced bad service in a restaurant before. as have i.) #bepositive #traindaily #eatwell #livewell
-should i go to a local toastmasters in the morning or volunteer at a race.
-if i knew then what i know now.
-many vegan restaurants play cool music.
