Over rio grande's infamous tennessee pass, the royal gorge snakes alongside the arkansas river on a blistering hot afternoon. the 12-car train would turn around several hundred yards west of year, beyond of which has been mothballed for years
Earlier this week, our team presented several options to the city of sheridan regarding the cb&q o-5 class 4-8-4 5631. the rotary club of sheridan asked for our assistance in gathering some potential options regarding the future of the locomotive for the city to consider.
the city of sheridan was gifted the cb&q in 1962 and we recognize the local importance of this wonderful piece of railroad history.
we look forward to potentially serving our #wyoming community in helping to safely treat the locomotive or assist in finding it a new home. if you or your organization are interested in the locomotive, please let us know.
