these toasts are bringing back goood memories! when i was a sophomore in college i would ride my bike to my apartment from school everyday and would alwaaaays crave this combo, but at one point i got so sick of it because of how much i ate it. it’s nice to come back to things and be reminded of some good days! toasted multi seed bread, almond butter, bananas, strawberries, and chia seeds. happy tuesday! ♥️ #andapinchoflove

I’ve tried making monthly intentions before, but tbh a month is just too long term for me to make a serious effort every day😅 one of my bffs started making weekly goals and it sounds like such a better idea for me!! so this week my goal is to be nicer... mostly to myself, because it’s hard to be kind to those around you when you are constantly being mean to yourself! i’m going to make it a point to say three nice things to myself every morning and say them again every time a negative thought crosses my mind. today, i am reminding myself that i am strong, i have exciting things in my future, and i like my smile 😉 simple but already improving my mood!

scramble 2 pasture raised eggs in a little grass-fed butter. as soon as the edges start to cook i turn the heat off and slowly push in the sides with a spatula, this helps to make the eggs “fluff” up. remove eggs and add a cup or so of organic spinach and let the heat from the pan slightly wilt it

add spinach to bottom of bowl, then sweet potatoes, eggs and bacon (you may re-warm sweet potatoes and bacon if you wish!) i added some fresh dill, cracked black pepper and @wildbrine probiotic spicy kimchi sriracha 🌶 i’d love to see your creations if you make one of these! make sure to tag me if so 😙 .

PROS:
-The nutrients are easily absorbable in its liquid state.
-Good way to get in your greens.
-It is an easy way to get nutrients.

CONS
-Juicing fruits and/or sweet veggies is a quick way for sugar to get in your bloodstream fast, so you have to be careful.
-Juicing is missing the fiber (the parts of the produce that hit the trash. Which are important parts.)
-Juicing can cause blood sugar dips and crashes if not consumed with protein and/or fat.

That feeling when you’re all proud of yourself for finally adulting and taking your car in for service, only to end up paying more than you expected because you’ve been rolling around for the past month with a nail in your tire 🤷‍♀️ at least there’s tacos right? —-
I’ve been trying hard lately to plan things out and keep track of responsibilities, but sometimes this whole being an adult thing is hard. It’s ok to admit when you’re a little overwhelmed. Just make sure to not let it spiral out of control. One way I’ve been trying to stay on top of things is writing down what I need to do in a planner (I obviously should have included car maintenance in that 🙄). How do you stay organized?

Thai Chicken Satay.🍴Marinate Chicken in 1/3 CUP Coco-aminos (healthy version of Soy Sauce), 1 TBS Almond Butter, 1 Minced Clove Garlic, 1/2 TBS Minced Ginger and 1 TBS Lime Juice for 15 mins or longer. Slice Chicken Breasts longways and feed onto skewers. Grill about 5 MINS per side. Shred up and mix together Red and Green Cabbage, Carrots and Cilantro. Make up another batch of the Marinade and pour over and stir into the Cabbage Mixture. Arrange Chicken and Cabbage Slaw on plate and garnish with Limes and Cilantro. Spent tonight canning pickled cukes.  Also more pesto to freeze and a big tray of zucchini noodle vegetarian lasagna. 
I love fresh produce from my gardens, and will be so happy this winter that I took the time to preserve my harvest.

As a vegetarian, fresh produce IS my diet.  No thank you to powders, shakes, meal replacement plans.  I eat real food only.  That does my body good!
