Do your struggle with making yourself a priority? if you have 2 min, please keep reading.
after having my daughter, i desperately wanted to lose weight, and i remember being so excited when i was cleared to finally work out again.
i legit had like 70 lbs to lose.
i reactivated my memberships to the gym and weight watchers, but the excitement quickly died off. what worked for me before having sophia, was not working anymore. i couldn't even get to those places. i got discouraged because i barely saw changes in 6 months.
i was really lost as to what i needed to do to take care of myself because i heard and believed that after you have kids, it wasn't about me anymore.
so i packed up my pre-pregnancy clothes and donated them. i had tears streaming down my face. i was literally forcing myself to accept this "new" unhappy me at 18 months postpartum.
moral here...i did not know how to make myself a priority.
it was later that week when i called bs on this mentality. i feel like when you want to change, doors open. you just have take the blindfold off.
this is the postpartum journey that taught me so much being my first time as a mom. i learned i could make myself a priority. i learned that efficient exercises can be done at home. i learned how to eat clean and in the right portions. i learned that food truly is medicine. i learned how start up as a coach. plus, i learned that there was an awesome support community out there waiting for me.
