making lifestyle changes that stick are the fruitful benefits of behavior change in healthy living. smart goal setting (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, & time-bound) has been helpful for so many of my clients.
one of my personal smart goals was to implement a prayer run 2xs a week, which i have mapped out in my neighborhood. this prayer run increases in very small increments at a time. to ensure i am successful (because i value switching things up), i will alternate prayer runs for increased speed vs distance. that is one goal working for me presently. rain or shine😄
i always encourage my clients to remain motivated by adding in a desired behavior rather than taking away an old behavior. i pray that through the power of the holy spirit, they can discover the mysteries of what is important for them to achieve, for continued success!
