Living on the edge, looking down on the jagged, dolerite sea cliffs of cape raoul with rock-climber @_simonbischoff_.
located in the stunning wilderness of the tasman national park, cape raoul can be accessed by boat or on foot. the 14km return day-walk takes hikers right to this edge of the world lookout, offering some of the most spectacular coastal views in tassie. with only a few steep sections, the walk is a comfortable 5 hours allowing plenty of time to relax and enjoy the expansive views of the surrounding tasman peninsular and further south to bruny island. of the experience, simon said, "watching this sea mist lapping at the pillars of cape raoul at the end of a magnificent day out to the point and back was quite possibly the most outrageously beautiful thing i have ever seen..." we'd have to agree with you there, mate - a real stunner! thanks for tagging #discovertasmania! #tasmannationalpark
