My bday tmr and in the spirit of gemini season, i decided to draw inspo from this shirt i found (and never fit into till now) and use it to symbolize the archetype of gemini. duality has always been important to me. what goes up, must come down. where there is bad, there must be good. the yin yang symbol is a chinese one that has been assimilated into western culture, so i pay my respects to chinese culture in addition to this. gemini is very misunderstood by lazy descriptions that emphasize traits most gemini’s don’t have. most of us, see the beauty in life and death. in social life and solitude. the beautiful and ugly. a lot of us deal in extremes and are fascinated by all that life has to offer, hence why we tend to get overwhelmed with the amount of hobbies and passions we take on. for a gemini, there is no limit. everything is dual and balanced when a gemini reaches its greatest potential. and while there are some unbalanced gemini’s making me really side eye the whole twin fam, i do appreciate those of you who make me proud to share this archetype. fun fact: i was a gemini with a twin. the twin unfortunately didn’t make it but it adds to the duality in my life amongst so much more.
