We are all currently living in a state of extreme uncertainty… and it is scary, but you are not alone and we have to continue to fight for what is right. we can always make more money, but we can’t raise the dead and containing #coronavirus
will prevent hundreds of thousands of deaths.
unfortunately one of the casualties of this containment strategy are the #smallbusinesses
that operate in our neighborhoods, #restaurants, #gyms, #salons, #boutiques, etc. many have been mandated to close for the greater good of the public without a timeline for when they may re-open. with $0 income for who knows how long, many have resorted to layoffs. i understand bailouts aren’t popular but these small businesses need a way to reopen and should be repaid for their #sacrifice. if given money, they would stop the #layoffs
and even rehire. #congress
is working on a multi-trillion $ relief program right now, but we have to make sure #lobbyists
don’t elbow out “the little guy”. to me, this is the #reliefeffort
that will move the needle.
how do we accomplish this in 2020? by showing congress 1 million faces of its #citizens
holding up a message to do the right thing! it has worked for many movements in the past and will work for small businesses. scroll down to the photos below and you will see what a #powerfulstatement
we need you to join the help small business challenge by doing the following:

2. take a picture with the sign and post it to #socialmedia

you to post your #picture! please challenge 10 others (#celebrities
would be great!). we have the #technology
to spread this message faster than the effects of coronavirus. let’s beat this!.
