This is 5th anniversary of the rana plaza factory collapse, which killed 1,138 people and injured many more, nala would like to pause for a moment, recognizing the millions of textile factory workers (60 to 75 million!!) around the world who do not benefit from any labor law while the global garment industry is estimated at 4.4 trillion dollars! we know we can do better. these individuals matter. they have dreams, and families. we guarantee that in the production of our garments our women are treated with respect, work in clean conditions, receive a fair wage and time off. we actually go above that.. and provide classes to further their education and teach them more than just how to run a sewing machine. our garments are made with pride and love and are making a difference in our women’s lives. just today one of our seamstresses said, “we love what we are learning and pray for you everyday because we are so grateful.” now.. i don’t know about you, but that screams purpose and compels us on!
