In light of some norwegian fishermen wanting to re-legalize the catching of porbeagle sharks, we wanted to point out that porbeagle sharks over 6 feet (approx. 1.8 meters) long were found to have methyl-merucry levels higher than european regulations and that levels increased as the sharks' size did. this is because methy-mercury bioaccumulates and continues to build higher and higher in the consumer's body.
